Latest acquisitions an upgrade to my senior branch dewas 1/4 Anna and eventually a virginia halfpenny. Ok the surface ain't great but the details are pleasing.

 

Here's the latest.



What's the opinions on its grade ? I would say its a high XF maybe even unc

 

at least Ef if not better. Nice one for sure

 

Thanks, it has all of the traits of UNC really the only thing that's making me lean more towards XF is that his Tash isn't so pronounced but for there to be no visible wear on the cheekbone I'm not sure. All I know is I'm happy with it it is a bit of fresh air because recently all I've done is upgrade. I never had this one anyway so its nice I need to upgrade the 1908 Edward VII one I have now though as this well and truly shows it up !

I got a proper colonial piece today that is very interesting !
Its a 1757 JM viceroyalty of Peru real Ferdinand IV (KM57) as a host coin but its counterstamped in a Floreated G.R for George II

Making it 10 pence, issued under the authority of November 1758 for Jamaica.

Although its a low grade it's still relatively high value !
