016.jpg 017.jpg Any ideas, I know I'm missing some of the pennies and they're not in the best condition. But it's a nice start and it is in a Whitman album

not much over face value, common 40's & 50's wheaties maybe a few cents each and 1 cent each on the memorials, and its a whitman folder not an album, and it is a nice start, now get the folder before or after this one and start on that as you try and fill the rest of the holes in this one....

I'd say the whole thing as is is probably worth around $5 or so. It's a nice start though and a fun project...just not a lot of value.

I have one of those from when I was a kid and just started looking at it again. I also have the earlier one with a LOT of holes.

If you are selling on Ebay, you have more than $5.00. The steel pennies look slightly AU or UNC, they can go for around $1.50 each I have seen for UNC ones. If someone from another country collects them, they may pay more. I would say if you toss on ebay, put up for $0.99 start bid, and like $20.00 buy it now with calculated shipping. Someone will bid on them for sure. The coin book it's self, is about $2.00-$5.00 depending on person buying.

Nice little set. The 1943 cents look to be processed. That gives them the shiny look. The rest of the set is really well matched in color. Nice original coins. Try to stay with that look as you fill the rest of the holes. Welcome to CT.
