Yeah, been there done that (not at UPS). But you still could have found time to watch GREAT 80's movies. Here's a small list of other movies you probably missed, better get Netflix and catch-up: Aliens (1986) Back to the Future (1985) Back to the Future Part II (1989) Batman (1989) Blade Runner (1982) Big (1988) Brazil (1985) Caddyshack (1980) Christmas Vacation (1989) Das Boot (1981) Dead Poets Society (1989) E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) Full Metal Jacket (1987) Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) Labyrinth (1986) National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) Platoon (1986) Raising Arizona (1987) Stand by Me (1986) Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back(1980) Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) Stripes (1981) The Abyss (1989) The Breakfast Club (1985) The Goonies (1985) The Karate Kid (1984) The Karate Kid, Part II (1986) The NeverEnding Story (1984) The Shining (1980) The Terminator (1984) The Thing (1982) Top Gun (1986) Willow (1988)
Hey, I like Temple of Doom a ton. I guess I am a freak. Next thing your going to tell me is that you didn't like Willow.
Uhhhhh guys, if you want to talk about movies, fine. But take it to General Discussion. This thread is about coins with fingerprints.
I think the Temple of Doom referred to the fingerprint on the coin--that killed its eye appeal for me.
Hey I didn't bring it up. And apparently you have never seen Big Lebowski. But Doug doesn't want us talking movies...
Apparently you don't know the movie as well as I do. *sigh* That was a quote from the dude after they throw the ashes and John Goodman gives the Nam speech about men dying before their time "like on hill 364". Back to the coin and fingerprint question to stay on topic, I have seen coins with similar marks as that. I believe that particular coin is a fingerprint, but some I have seen turn out to be an effect from the coins surface being pressed against the canvas bag for a period of time. An "element" or mineral/chemical is imprinted onto the surface of the dollar. Because of the bag marks on this coin, I feel that is unlikely. The coins I have seen with this effect have bag marks on the opposing side only.
