If it's grades Vf 30 or better a 42/1 Mercury Dime without problems $500.00+ not many people will pay unless graded by a Tpg .even if grades with problems . Error like this not many raw or ungraded
I need better photos of the date to say it is 42/1. The bottom of the '4' doesn't seem correct as far as doubling to me from the photos.
Thank you very much for the info guys. I will try to load better pics. Im about to send it to NGC to be graded just wanted to make sure it was worth it
I really hate to say this, but......... Did you buy the Mercury Dime from the same source as that 20 Center? And were the prices too good to be true?
You may want to take a real close look at these two coins. I am VERY suspect of the 4 on the dime and that 20 cent piece.. well, to start with the right side wing should not be in that location. It should point to the serif on the S in cents. The date seems to off, The dentils look wrong. etc.,.. etc.... etc.... Thats all I got to say bout that.. : )
I can not be 100% sure that the coin you have is a fake but i am suspicious of it and if offered for sale i would have no interest in it !!
