Do these look cleaned?

These two coins are in holders marked uncirculated, but I'm always skeptical of brightly colored bronze coins. Still, maybe they are uncirculated. Do you think they are cleaned or is the toning natural? I should caution that my scanner makes the images look bluer than they are. 1950 somalia 1 cent.jpg 1950 somalia 5 cents.jpg

Agreed. Looks like you scanned them.

A digital camera that has a decent-enough focal length or macro function would do the trick.

That's the best I can do. My camera is designed for long distance shots.

they look natural to me. I have 5 sets of these Somalia's coins. some are red some tone darker.

Well, they look "not harshly cleaned" to me, according to the pics you provided.

I have some old British Commonwealth coins in brilliant Red from the 1950s (Rhodesia and Nyasland, South Africa, etc). They seem to be pretty common in that condition, surprisingly.

I don't think they're cleaned, Hiddendagon. The scan is throwing things off.
