More progress....cancel box has disappeared on the UNC Gold... Still listed as backordered, but I view this as progress.

Only have the 1 Gold Unc which is still back ordered, ordered Sunday morning..hope to get..

 

To mint, not very long. To ship, with thousands of orders coming in for these (including the silver, clad, and everything else the Mint sells) apparently a few months.

 

My first day order for the UNCs finally shipped today.

 

I think that will be a good thing for these coins(value wise). I would assume that the mint will not do any more odd-shaped coins again and that would keep these unique. Also with a 400,000 total mintage, they should end up around the 2001 buffalos(price-wise). I know the buffalo nickel design is one of the most popular designs and that is what keeps the price up for them, but I think the fact that these coins appeal not only to coin collectors but to baseball fans as well, will help the price to rise on these. I also think the Uncirculated Silver $1 will end up being the big winner in the long run.

That is a 124,182 people who won't be able to have both a proof and unc. If you can hold onto your UNCs for awhile, you will benefit nicely.

 

The two Clad Uncirculated Half Dollars I ordered finally arrived yesterday.

 

Still waiting on 1 Proof and 1 Uncirculated Dollar. I called yesterday and ask if they thought I would get them by Christmas, she laughed and said she hoped so.

My uncirculated clad half dollar has arrived. My two gold coins still have backordered/expected ship dates of 06/30. Today is 07/16. Who knows?

 

Received my gold proof yesterday. Gold UNC now shows a date of 7/31. Silver proofs have moved back into the realm of reality with dates in mid to late August (they were previously scheduled for early June even though it was July, and the June dates didn't even appear until July.)

 

Still waiting on 100 proof silvers. Ordered them March 27th (i think). Well worth the wait.

 

Gold Unc. arrived today.

So now I have one of each from the whole set I ordered on 3-27-2014 at 11pm.

 

I still have some silvers coming and one of those orders is now backordered to 8/15.

 

I did hear from a friend of mine today that his 4 gold HOF $5 coins he had ordered were cancelled today 7/22/2014 .
I bet there are some people who were counting on those showing up from ebay presells . I guess the price is low right now so they could always buy a few off ebay for their presell orders .

 

Sold two uncirc's up in Oneonta a few weeks ago.

Wife took the proceeds and bought some antiques.

Gotta find a better way to bury my proceeds.......

 

My late golds were also canceled today as well. No emails yet, but showing up as not in stock or something like that on the website

He should get a refund for the bag shipping. I called and they said they would be issuing the refund via the same card.

 

Looks like I might be locked in for my UNC Gold. Got the Gold Proof last week - UNC is still backordered. Both were ordered at the same time.
