Had to laugh at this one. Think it's worth it?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/131218583245?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2648
Instead of "I am an FBI agent" maybe his handle should be "I am a friggin idiot". Or, maybe not, who knows, to paraphrase an old saying, "there is always a bigger idiot". Maybe it will sell.
This guy's prices were the subject of another somewhat recent thread, but if I recall correctly, at that time he also had a fair number of auction listings selling at average prices. I assumed it was just a tactic to draw eyes to his listings, but now it seems as if idiots, perhaps on both sides of the table, is indeed the likeliest answer.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1928-P-Peac...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Perhaps he posted the wrong photo... but positive feedback was left.
Maybe his tactic isn't so crazy. Post a common date coin with okay toning, list it as a high BIN, but give a "make an offer" option. He may just get a much higher price for this rather ordinary coin using this technique than had he listed it as a pure auction starting at $0.99. Oh, I missed that it's been in the attic for 50 years, I need to go buy that, brb! (sarcasm)
