Got my silvers weeks ago Dave, so waiting was not a problem, but I was very satisfied with the quality of product. I did wait longer for my golds to arrive and was able to still sell two at a nice profit to cover the cost of the one I kept for the collection. Worth the wait? Yes.........
Yes, worth the wait. I already posted mine in other threads. Prices are down for these now on eBay, but they will make a comeback especially the gold. Another surge will occur later this month at the HOF Induction ceremony as news spreads to the baseball fans. Here's one with a small chip defect above the "E". Does anyone know what happens with coins returned to the mint?
With theses being sold out (right?) I think you'd either get a refund or someone else's reject.........
Green, thanks for the response. I don't plan on returning it for the reasons you suggested. I was wondering if the mint would resell a coin rejected by a collector. If they evaluated each returned coin and made a decision to melt or resell. I called the mint but didn't get a definitive answer.
