This coin was in a bag of coins that I bought from a garage sale. At first glance I thoughtit was just a coin that somebody beat the hell out of with a hammer. I tossed it back into the pile. Today I came across it again. Upon closer inspection and with the new found awareness of the "Brockage Error", believe this to be a brockage coin. Please weigh in! Thanks!

Your gut instinct was correct... This is the result of someone stacking coins on this one and either whacking it with a hammer or smashing them together....just damage.

By looking at the reversed lettering on the obverse top right corner, it's just someone playing with a hammer
