1827 square base capped bust half dollar... How much would you pay?

    Value maybe $30 - $50?

    Around $30 sounds reasonable. The color seems a bit off to me (there are *lots* of these being counterfeited right now) but if the weight & density spec out, that can be explained by a rough cleaning in the past.

    Nothing that pops out on this coin screaming fake but it'd be best to weigh it. I think $40 is a fair price for this.
