I recently purchased a proof set for my birth year and noticed that the Dime, Nickel and Quarter all exhibit some toning or discoloration. Is this common for the slabs used by the mint back then? I also picked up a 1968 set for my wife's birth year and it doesn't show any of the toning.

Common for these sets under the right storage conditions.
