J.F.K.Gold According to the chart, for an average gold price in the $1,300 to $1,349.99 range, the coins would be priced at $1,277.50. For each $50 price range increment, prices move higher or lower by $37.50. http://mintnewsblog.com/2014/07/additional-details-on-50th-anniversary-kennedy-half-products/ J.F.K. Silver Four Coin Set At this point, the US Mint indicates that the set is scheduled for release in the fall of 2014
Possible mint to order wouldn't that be some great action to watch if the u.s. mint had another counter meter for this offering. Examples: http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...10001&storeId=10001&productId=17136&langId=-1 http://mintnewsblog.com/2013/05/west-point-silver-eagle-set-sales-data/
my guess is that the mint could sell some 100,000 or less gold coin. and 500,000 set or less of silver half dollar. while the clad 2 coin set. i have no idea and will not buy them.
plan to buy limit 5 coin for gold but the money is too much. plan to buy limit 5 set of 4 coin silver set. this 5 set is not enough for me. i need to buy more sets.
Ill buy a box of 5 of the 4 silver coin set (assuming a limited mintage and not just minting to demand). I missed out on the 25th ASE as I wasn't active/watching for it. I love my set I bought second hand (although pricy) so I've been very much watching and waiting on the kennedies to compliment my ASE.
If they do that then ill still pick one up to complement my ase set but won't "stock up" with the 5 order limit.
I'm thinking these are going to be a huge, over bought flop. Plus any premium that might accur will quickly be eaten up by selling fees / PayPal fees & postage. :-(
I think you are probably right...it would make sense. I smart business move for the mint would be to cash in on the hype from the HOF coins. So, they will mint as many as they can sell...because people have seen how much the HOF coins have sold for and will want to "get in on this one."
The price tag on these are pretty high. I think many of the 'usual' flippers will side this one out or buy one/two. @Chiefbullsit - You still on the fence? You going big and heading to Chicago? I have co-workers headed to the show as vendors but unfortunately, I can't make it.
