To me at least. I was going through the junk 90% culls at my LCS. This one jumped out at me due to the color and semi decent shape for being in the cull box....After a better look I could make out some words dug into the coin. I happily payed the cull price and It followed me home. After a closer look I noticed The words read " I love Ethel" .......(possibly you or yu ) I like this coin although I would prefer it without the marks! I like the coin and feel its crude yet interesting...thought I would share. Btw could you call this a very very crude love token or just a scraped on morgan?
I can only see the "I" on thr cheek.... wouldnt be considered a love token..... love tokens are designed and ingraved very well... this just looks like someone went at it with a knife
Yes it was a hack job....knife,nail...who knows. The I starts at the star before the chin. The check is a T below a V.
