Great find. I love the 2009 cents... I rarely ever find them in my change.

Only 16 DDRs for Denver, Philly has 101 DDRs

117 DDs? The mint must have been in quite a hurry with this issue.

Thats crazy, I would think the Denver(s) would bring a better premium, then the Philly's, only time will tell, that for sure

It looks to me that the real rarity is one without some sort of error.

I heard that the next edition of Cherrypickers will in include 7 varieties of the 2009 DD Cents – those should be the ones that get the most attention. Not sure if that edition is out yet.

If the satin finish means these are mint set coins then finding one of those in circulation would be about as rare as findind a DDR.
Of course it's easy to check if it's a mint set coin as those have the same metal composition as pre '82 Lincolns. What's it weigh?

My Dad was at the ANA Boston show in 2010 and met MR. Wiles. Mr. Wiles told him that the only thing he hated more to attribute then Kennedy half dollars were Ike dollars........

That's a regular business strike Zincoln. A satin finish should weigh about 3.11 grams.
The likelyhood of it being a DDR-010 is pretty slim.

:cyclops: I'm not so good at seeing things, but I do see that the finger on this coin has something go on.
