mis struck pennies?

One im sure is mis struck .the other im not sure.first 3 pics are from a 1988.you can see the 88.the laat 2 I dont know the year.

The first coin is damaged, the second coin is called an off-center strike.

 

Any idea what the off center might be worth?

 

That off center would be worth approximately 5 bucks... but I could be wrong.
Is it copper or zinc?

 

The off center looks copper to me. No evidence of plating being broken as would appear on '82 or later.

The first one is definitely PMD.

 

There is no date.so not sure.

 

I think it's a zincer... I see small plating breaks between the ED on the reverse.

Actually I dont think they would take it if u tried to use it so maybe not even a dollar.

 

I've seen similar errors go for $5-10 on ebay.

 

they are cool i would just keep them. 10 dollars does not get you nothing,,cheers

The 1988 is definitely PMD. On the reverse, you can see the date from another coin backwards.....2006(?)

On that '88 coin--has another coin been forced/smashed into the surface of the other coin? Pretty interesting damage.

 

That's what it appears. People will often squeeze or smash cents together to get interesting effects and in some cases, try to pass them off as genuine errors.
