    Diameter: ~38.25mm
    Weight: ~15.1gm
Material: non-ferrous, probably an alloy of copper. Looks sand-cast, to me.
Edge: not reeded; appears ground (or sanded) with a slight radius.
I'll try to get a pic of it.
Reverse seems very slightly concave; obverse is high-relief, not convex.

If it IS a copy, what's it a copy OF...and how old? (If appearance offers any hint about age). Who is the man on the obverse?

If it's the Real Deal (doubtful, as the ancient coins I've seen are substantially smaller), has it any significance, or extraordinary value?

Can the inscriptions (wrong term, probably: words, etc., is what I mean) be translated by anyone here?

All comments are most welcome, and Thanks!

    Ardatirion Où est mon poisson

A very crude modern cast fake of a sestertius (or medallion?) of Lucius Verus.

    This most definitely a fake.
    The obverse legend reads:
L VERVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX
( Lucius Verus Augustus ARM is Armenicus, conquerer of Armenia, PARTH is Parthicus, conquerer of Parthia)
    The reverse legend reads:
    COS II (Second counsulship)

    Take a look at: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/...coins.com/monetaromana/corrisp/a910/a910.html
Or if that doesn't open correctly, try: http://www.forumancientcoins.com/monetaromana/corrisp/a910/a910.html and then have the page translated.
The article calls your coin a modern hybred

    Thank you, all three.

I'm gonna stop picking up these obviously suspect slugs...someday, real soon now.

Bing, I'm grateful for the links...I'll go there and learn. The translation is a real bonus!
