Is it Roll Hunting if they were my OWN rolls?

Today I searched 8 rolls of pennies that I had rolled some years ago. I don't think I had checked them carefully, if at all, when I did them. In my first two rolls I found one Wheat each and thought I was on a roll (pun intended). All the rest were a bust, though.

On Friday when I deposited my paycheck, I inquired about rolls of halves or dollars and was told they don't ever order them. Would only have them if someone brought them in. She did give me her card and said I could call and ask if she had any and also the I could order a box of halves for $500, so there is some hope with them (branch closest to work for me).

Does anybody have a bank that stocks Half Dollars? I been trying to get my bank to get halves for awhile now.

I checked with several local banks. None "stock" them, but over half of them would order boxes for me.

I would say no, it's not really roll hunting, if you have owned the rolls for so many years. I think that it would be considered more of what do I have in here it has been so long since I last looked at them.

I've ordered rolls from BoA before. But, I'm pretty sure all they do is pass back and forth a few dozen rolls between branches to cover the roll hunters.
