George and William the Third

    Hello. I just acquired these two British coins. The first is a shilling dated 1787 and represents king George the Third. The second coin is a Half Crown dated 1701 and represents king William the Third. Could you please assist me to guess the approximate grades and values of these coins . Thanks a lot ..

    1st top coin has many varieties I am guessing it is:
    1787 Great Britain, 1 Shilling, KM#607.1 ,weight-6.0200 or .1790oz. ,metal-.925 silver reverse: without hearts in Hanoverian shield.
    grade/value
    F-$12.00 VF-$25.00 XF-$55.00 UNC-$100.00
    not sure what your coins grade is ? guessing VF+ - XF. cool early date coin. :blackalien:

    2nd bottom coin has many varieties I am guessing it is:
    1701 Great Britain, Half Crown, KM#492.4 metal- silver, reverse: plumes in angles ?
    grade/value
    VG-50.00 F-$100.00 VF-$325.00 XF-$800.00
    not sure what your coins grade is ??? guessing G-VG.
    or it could be this variety:
    KM#492.2 metal- silver reverse: Crowned cruciform amrs.
    grade/value
    VG-$20.00 F-$40.00 VF-$180.00 XF-$600.00
    not sure what grade your coin is ??? guessing G-VG. others can give you a better grade than me. :blackalien:
