Best place to check is probably ebay. I've googled and found this tax token site, but it doesn't have pics of each kind of state token, so you're pretty much left to guessing if it's rare or not. At least on ebay you can see pics and what they've sold for.

Yeah, they don't seem to be too popular. I think they're worth collecting if they're in mint condition. Considering they're several decades old and cheap, I think mint state ones are good to collect
