Found in a roll! Pretty excited cause I didn't have any of these till now. So.. based on its condition. What would it be worth? Just melt value? 20140615_232732.jpg 20140615_232746.jpg

    doug444 STAMPS and POSTCARDS too!

It's better than average, but it doesn't strike me as good enough to be a keeper. If you sold it for, say, $2 - you would have been working for about $1.50 per hour - slave wages, to extract that 50c over melt value. Start a cigar box of junk silver.

While I'm finding it to be expensive, I'm trying to preserve as many older coins as I can that I like. Even if they aren't really valuable. I'm more into preserving these already circulated rejects.lol

Flatten out the ends of those staples so they don't scratch your coins.

Yep! If you want to preserve them, the last thing you want to happen is a big old scratch across the coin. FWIW, most office supply stores carry "flat cinch" staplers which are much better than a standard stapler. They don't cost that much.

Take a look at the end of a staple with a glass. It will scare you. Even the loops on the staple can do damage to other coins or slabs.
