Have never seen a label like this before... I guess this is a "is it real" post. Thanks... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1779-Mo-FF-...2256350?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item5b0134b8de
The label does look different but the coin looks good and you know Matt is good for what he sells. No harm, no foul.
This is a great resource for determining the type and dates of usage for grading services' holders SampleSlabs.com
It may be a good slab but the listing violates eBay policy, to wit: Note: Coins minted before 1980 must show the full front and back of the holder. Coins minted in 1980 or after must show the full front of the holder.
Folks NEED to spend some time researching all the various slab types which PCGS and NGC have produced since 1987.
IT's completely authentic...and that's a mighty decent looking Carolus III 8 Reales. Someone got a very nice deal on that one IMO. Has a lot of meat left on the bones and beautiful original crusty surfaces.
Just an FYI: I'm pretty sure eBay got rid of the "front and back of the holder" rule sometime last year. The current rules no longer include that requirement.
