Several years ago I bought a 1957 US Mint Proof Set on ebay. Upon receiving it I discovered it had two dimes and no nickels. Has anyone ever seen on like this before? Does anyone have any idea what it may be worth?

Just a packaging error. Worth about the same as a normal set.

I don't know...you might be able to get a premium with the right buyer. I personally have never seen such an error.

It would bring a premium of some kind provided the packaging clearly hasn't been tampered with.

Nothing was tampered with that I can see.

I agree but the premium will be small. The collector base for this type of thing is also a bit small.
Years ago when silver was really low the premium was much higher in relation to the value of the normal set.
Crazy things happen on Ebay. Get a few folks fighting over it and anything is possible.
