The United States Mint is proud to introduce three new products to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy half-dollar. Our two-coin clad set goes on sale July 24 and contains two uncirculated quality 2014 Kennedy half-dollars from our facilities in Denver and Philadelphia. And the 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half-Dollar Gold Proof Coin goes on sale August 5. This stunning coin contains three-quarters of an ounce of .9999 fine, 24-karat gold and bears the “W” mint mark of our West Point facility. For those who love collecting silver coins, we’ll offer the 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half-Dollar Silver Coin Collection that contains a proof quality coin from Philadelphia, a reverse proof coin from West Point, an enhanced uncirculated coin from San Francisco and an uncirculated coin from Denver (on sale date TBD). Stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter pages for more information about these special products!

So, I guess this means that only the Gold Coin and the Two Coin Clad set is what will be available at the ANA Convention in Rosemont?

Too bad as I was looking forward to attending the show and picking up the 50th Anniversary Set.

Silver for sure! If they limit the mintage I'll get the gold too and maybe a few more silver sets :) Hehehe

Shoot, I've already got the clads in the rolls I buy from the mint. Who the devil needs redundancy?

On the gold it depends on how many and how they are distributed. If they do the one month thing I won't touch them with a ten foot pole.

I'd like to see them do a 2 coin per address limit for two weeks and watch the big boys sweat. They would be running around like a rooster in a hen house....:D

It's all about the packaging green! Just look at the Limited Edition Silver Proof Sets.

Everything within the sets is available either individually or with the standard Silver Proof set.

I wonder what that "packaging" will be? Two coins in cello in an envelope?? Box? Special lens similar you a proof set?

It's the mint! I bet they'll wind up selling the silver set at the show too.

    Well, it's about doggone time.

After watching the free-for-all over the Baseball HOF coins, it's awfully tempting to speculate on the silver sets and gold. Don't know if I'll be able to keep my nerve, though -- a 3/4 oz gold coin is going to be a big chunk of change, no matter what the gold price does between now and then.

I'd love to pick up one of the 4-coin silver sets. I think the gold will be cool...I'm just not sure it's cool enough for the price.

I already have the 2014 P and D clads and the 2014 S Silver proof, but will get the 4 coin set.

I think that could be a furor on this one. It rings familar to the 25th Anniversary ASE set. I'm going for 5 of the 4-coin set.

I am going to buy the clad and silver sets, definitely. I will have to decide what to do about the gold version as the time approaches.

Just one 4 coin silver set for me.
I think my favorite will be the uncirculated Denver coin, it'll be the closest to the original '64. The Philly proof would be cool too if they did the proof frost like the old frost. I don't care for the new, sand sculpture looking frost.
In my opinion the mint will do these mint to demand with no mintage limits. Not much flipping opportunity here.

The US Mint announced the Kennedy Commemorate coins on Facebook, But did NOT list any of these coins on their own web page where they list the schedule of new releases.

    Duh???

If that ends up being the case, I will probably pick up a silver set on the secondary market down the road.
