A similar Web link was posted by spirityoda today in the CoinChat section. However, these ancient coin tattoos may be of interest here. How do you like this coin of Athens?

Or if you are into Roman coins:

BTW, I personally have no tattoos but I do have some coins.

While I am not planning a tattoo either, I do believe that the best source for coin line art would be some of the old books illustrated with line drawings. If I were to get a coin tattoo, I believe it would be the Akragas design of two eagles eating one hare. I failed to find it online but there is a very well done line drawing in some of the older books (public domain).

When I was younger I had grand plans of getting a tattoo but then I realized the cost involved and weighed the pros and cons of being a poor student would it be better to have a tattoo or eating. Eating won.

I still would like to get one if I ever have that much disposable income and don't spend it all on coins. But it wouldn't be of an ancient coin, I had always planned on getting the two ravens Huginn and Muninn.

What's with all this tatoo craze all of the sudden? I sure wouldn't get a tatoo anywhere on my body. Especially that of a coin... it would be a counterfeit.

I'd consider getting an eagle from a U.S. design and incorporating it into a half sleeve

I have a Lithuanian cross on my right arm and am considering one of these three for the left. All are of Lithuanian origin

I found this one on Google Images before. It's a wonderful type, but this is more dedication than I can condone:

I do have to compliment the tattoo artist, though. The coin is clearly identifiable as the example from the Egger sale in 1913 which is now in the Boston Museum of Fine Art.
