It's a uniface token, fits perfectly in a quarter sized 2x2 flip. Appears to be brass. U star M on one side.
I've searched through the Standard Catalog of US Tokens (3rd edition) with no luck. I started out by searching the index for all of the tokens starting with the letter U & then started flipping at random. Is there a better way to search the catalog? Or, to put it another way, how would most collectors describe this token (ie; "U star M" / "U*M" "UM with a star between")
After going through the US Token catalog, I was wondering if this might be a cotton picker token? Anyone recognize it?
I'm a military trade token enthusiast so I may not be the best at this but my first search of www.tokencatalog.com didn't turn anything up.
