Is this on a foreign planchet? Of so, what country and what is the value?[IMG][IMG]

I don't think it is struck on a foreign planchet. To me, it looks like it may have been previously encased. I am basing this especially from the reverse where it looks like it dips down a bit where the original rim would be. The part I am looking at is near the bottom corner of the left wheat stalk and below "A" and "M".

It was either encased in say one of those aluminium good luck tokens and then later removed - which accounts for the flattened rims or much less likely it was broadstruck outside of a collar when it was minted. From the appearance it looks like it was flattened a bit when it was struck into a good luck token with an aluminium outer border.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Toning (corrosion) caused by organic material (skin oils, etc.) on the coin interacting with oxygen in the air and the coin.

Don't spend it all in one place. :D

    I'm having deja vu here.

Did you weight it? It's most likely a flattened cent
