Create a CL ad wanting any gold or silver. Say you'll pay $5 over spot or something. Say you only collect the type that was stolen. Maybe you'll get somewhere, maybe you won't.

Incidentally, in many states, if you are returning to your car, and you see a man carrying what are obviously your parcels -- and you shoot him as he runs away -- YOU, the shooter, will go to jail.
