Recently Acquired Standing Liberty Quarter

    Well I finally found a 1917 D Type 2 for my set. Paid 124.00 bucks for her. Still on the hunt for the 19D and 19S.

    I hope that black stuff under the mint mark isn't epoxy.

    Why finally? You make it sounds like it was hard to find one for $124. Is it a specific grade set? Just curious.

    Cause I'm picky kuba. Every 17 D I've come across is over graded and over priced.

    It does have the appearance of an added mint mark with that black surrounding and inside the D. It should be checked under high magnification however to be certain it was not glued on.
