Thank you I am look for a 1950 I can afford ! Cameo to that will complete the set. But also one of the hardest to get in a Cameo grade Here one I hope to add if Mrs Santa can buy it this year.
+1, any proof in my collection is either a nice toner or a CAM, regular proofs are just not special enough
Nice, jello... why not sell some "stuff" and get that one instead? And to comment on the OPs statement, I don't think cameo coins are overrated, but they are much nicer and of higher quality. DCAMs can be quite expensive though.
I have stuff over in for sale now. My Franklin are not going anywhere it a part of my family collection . The Roosevelt are for sale 1859-O Error seated half Morgan dollar. Complete 2009 MS Proof 12coin set just look in for sale or pm a want list I will see whatever I have two of
Depends upon the coin. I absolutely love the Silver Kennedy Halves in PF 70 DCAM. Other coins don't look as good--- lots of the modern commemorative designs look too busy in Cameo. I way prefer the high grade MS for those coins, to Proofs.

One in photo $1995.99 200.00 Franklin will not be a Cameo my set are all graded. Cameo .1951-1963 I not going to get a proof that Not grade non cameo .
As do I but be in Vietnam kinda killed chances of finding good cameo proof set to cherry pick.but that's life I was not going to Canada it would have killed my dad and family .to me things like that count. Plus I made til retirement . American don't run they run to the fight that what I was schooled to do.
I am a big fan, like Lee (19Lyds), of the pre-1974 cameo proofs. When you realize exactly how rare they are, you can appreciate them even more. The fact that it was NOT a surface that the Mint actively tried to provide makes them all the more fascinating to me. Here's a few of my favorites:
Here is my 1950 non-cameo. I looked for a long time for this coin, for my complete set of Franklins. This one was one of the nicest I have seen for the money (a little over $400 was the selling price):
Nice !!! But my set are all graded. Cameo or Deep Cameo . So I not going to change theme of set. I hope to find one with a lower price and bean less I don't need a bean to tell me something Pcgs already notes .
Yeah, I hope you find it. Cameos in that grade without the green bean still trend over $1000. It is a very tough date to find nice coins.
