I use too have a short set 34-58 that was ranked #3 at NGC minus the 55DDO the 34D and 35S. Had too sell them off a few years back so I am slowly putting this set back together again.
Raw pictures of my 1955 DDO FS-101 which was recently slabbed by PCGS MS63 RB. I was hoping for a MS64 or 65 given the complete lack of contact marks on the reverse.
Just received this one in the mail today. Most of you know the majority of my collection is slabbed Lincoln cents from 09-present. I do have some raw examples. These are my pictures that I just took. I am very pleased. No major contact marks or nicks. Cheek bone stands out and shows no signs of wear. Details on both the obverse and reverse are strong. Slight bit of toning on the right side of the obverse and some scattered carbon spots. Let me know what you think this will grade.
Anyone interested complete 2009 P D S. Lincoln label set go to my for sale. All.are Ngc graded coins 66Red Proof 69Deep Cameo. All 12 coins.
The 1911 has several diagnostics. It would be more telling than the rims, if the seller would furnish a clear photo. It doesn't look like one to me.
I could not be anymore excited too have just scored this beauty in today's Heritage Auction. It is a NGC 1971 S DDO FS-102 PF*68RD Lincoln Memorial. Considering the last example that sold at Teletrade back in September 2007 was only a PF68RD DDO and it sold for $1725.00 and I snag this * example for $650 I think I did well
