The obverse of this Greek coin does not look strange to me. But still I can't remember.. The lettering could also be interesting but difficult for me to decipher. I accept any comment or assistance. The coin weighs 5.19 g. . Thanks..

Seleukid Antiochos IX 114-95 BC bronze
    SNG Cop 407

vcoins has a similar example for sale by ECIN Associates for $15

I also found similar on wildwinds:
    SNGIs 2687
Hoover 1248 - inscription around thunderbolt reads BASILEOS ANTIOCOU FILOPATOROS

The inscription translates roughly King Antiochos, FILOPATOROS is used to describe the father/son relationship presumably to the previous ruler Antiochos VIII..I guess???

The attribution SNG Cop 407 is incorrect. I got this attribution from the ECIN ASSOCIATES coin for sale on VCoins but that attribution actually applies to a bronze Commodus of Ilion, Troas. The other two attributions I personally looked up myself and do match Charles' coin. I guess you can't always trust a dealer's attribution so it's always good to double check yourself when cataloging a new purchase.
