How to take good coin photos

    I tryed taking a picture of a wheat cent up close and it came out really blurry i tryed zooming in and out . i have a HP Photosmart E317 maybe its just the camera. if anyone has any good ideas please let me know thanks

    Same here... I have, I dunno maybe 25+ coins in NGC slabbs... Last night I took like 15 or so pics... Not one usable.... Either too Blurry, out of focus, red spots, flash washout or to dark...

    Not a keeper in the mix.... Lucky it was a Digital Cam and I did not burn all that film and development costs...

    There have been lots and lots of threads with tips for coin pics. Just do a search for key words like picture, camera, pics etc.

    Use your loupe in front of the camera lens.

    i don't have to learn how to do it. cause i can see a lot of good coins picture from coin talk. thanks coin talk and those people involves.

    That is for sure. There are posts about taking photos all over the place here.
