Yah, I admit that I'm weak ... I am trying to save-up for house renovations, but I keep getting side-tracked by super cool coins!!

I have always liked this cool dolphin & anchor design, so when I stumbled across this lil' baby, I postponed the renos for one more day ... man, ya gotta love the animal-coins, right?!

... please feel free to post any of your relevant coins ... dophin coins, anchor coins, Titus coins, coins with Titus riding a dolphin and holding an anchor, etc, etc ...

=> yup, it's another fantastic Sunday morning!!

    Sweet pickup Steve!

I really like those Titus dolphin and anchor coins. I almost pulled the trigger on a several when shopping for my Titus, but since I'm doing my 12 Caesars in mostly bronze, I picked up this example instead. I need to re-shoot that reverse.

    Titus; AD 79-81
    Bronze As, 26mm/13.1g (Rome Mint)
    Obverse: laureate head right,
Reverse: Pax standing left, near a lighted altar, holding with the right hand a patera and with the left one a caduceus and an olive branch,
    (Cohen 129)

TIF, I'd like your post with the Syracuse. Agathokles twice if I could. Just an absolute stunner.

I still remember your story of the bidding hunt on that one. LOL! :D
