I placed my first order of the year with the U.S. Mint today. Upon completing the order there was a handling charge of $5.95 in addition to the $4.95 shipping charge. When did they start that policy? :rolling:
Did you select the 'Gift Box' option? If so - then the answer is the Mint has always charged an extra $5.95 per each 'Gift Box' item.
