A lil package from my cousin

    Yup yup my cousin PJ was cleaning out some of my Uncle Al's old boxes out of the basement and came across a bunch of these... he kept most and is doing a "bartop" with them but he was kind enough to send me one :D
    Anyone recognize what it is??? (I know and will tell tomorrow if nobody guesses right lol)

    some added info... it is a form of military script..

    when I search for it specifically i find one example on ebay that matches what my cousin told me it was, though i am still looking for more info on military coinage like this :D

    If it is what I believe one could get these in a military NCO club. If I remember correctly they were called "chits". A member of the club could get these when they didn't have sufficient cash to cover their desire for drink. They had to repay their amount within a set period after the next payday.

    Vietnam Saigon Port Facilities NCO 50 cent token used roughly from 1966-70
