So, is this series going to be an elite, high priced set, held only by wealthy collectors, or is it going to bomb? Prices are doing very well, considering the state of the pm market. Some have values 4 to 10 times their pm value and most are going for more than double their pm value. Definitely not bombing currently. Who knows what the future holds for these big beautiful five ounce silver coins. Either way, I’m holding mine, maybe indefinitely, or until they hit a few grand each. Hey, not impossible, given the low mintages, just need a little more demand to drive them there, maybe not until the series ends. Nice way to hold silver too. Ok, all you stackers, tell me I’m wrong. The numismatists can chime in too.
Well, you're not wrong since at the very minimum, each one you hold onto is worth at least 5 oz of Silver at Melt. Whether that's $15 or $250 is anybodies guess.
With its unique design and lowest mintage of the series, the Hawaii puck with be the big winner. I already own one but have been thinking about getting another at retail now before the prices really soar. All it will take is a little more interest in the series as a whole or perhaps a volcanic eruption somewhere in the world...lol. TC
I like your thinking - I have an extra Hawaii to hold for the moon. Also doubling up on new issues. At these mintages, these Pucks have much more potential than the HOF commems.
I haven't checked in on values of these recently, but have a set of the first 5 pucks. What are they going for lately?
