Should be a new Stage, (C) for the Reverse: Die chip, has gone through planchet now : 2013 1¢ WDDR-002

Description: Strong extra thickness shows on the lower letters in USA with the strongest spread on the right side of the reverse. Strong extra thickness also shows on the designer’s initials LB and JFM. Notches can be seen on the lower left corners of the letters in ONE CENT. Distortion shows on the incuse letters of EPU.

Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die gouge can be found to the left of the lower U in TRUST. A die crack runs NNW from the front of the eyebrow into the front of the forehead. Obverse Stage B: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage A: A light die crack runs along the top left edge of the shield. Reverse Stage B: Some die cracks and die chips can be found on the left side of the top edge of the shield.

Not even remotely close to 002. Just look at the LB. Also Rick, what does "Die chip, has gone through planchet now" mean. You do realize the chips can't go through the planchet.

First image is Rick's, second is Wexler's:

heres another 1 of LB, with extra light added to it, I don't like to add extra light, then gives shadow, like in wexler photos A041 - 20140521_072556.jpg

It is, I just can't catch thoses very, very, small designers signatures, wexler most have took them with his 1800x scope

The magnification does not matter at all in this instance. Just look at the thickness of the letters. You do not need to capture the notches on the letters to see the difference. It is clear as day that your coin exhibits neither the notching, distortion, or extra thickness that DDR-002 has.

You could be right about DDO-2 I know 1 thing, all the DDR are pretty close, for this year, so far, I've looked at lots of them, (2013) could be a new DDR, you have to look at the placement of the lettering, or how it struck, take theses 2, (of) 08-horz.jpg see how the "O" in the center are turned, heres a error free 1 A046 - 20140521_114408.jpg

I agree magnification doesn't, but image quality does even though I am in no way trying to imply that this is the claimed variety. While not meant to be an insult, considering how often he images coins, Rich would be better off upgrading his present capabilities and methods.

I agree with that, I'm getting tired of this 1 too, only takes to 250x, first 1, I ever bought, paid 125.00 for it, good for full images, but can't get the designers signatures, on theses lincoln cents
