Man, I don't think I've ever seen it so slow on this forum. So, to try to give it some kind of kick start, I thought we could show off our favorite Constantine Era coins. I think most of us have some. So, I'll start with a couple of mine:

    Constantine_I_24.jpg
    CONSTANTINE I AE3
OBVERSE: CONSTANTINVS P F AVG, laureate and cuirassed bust right
REVERSE: SOL INVICTO COMITI, Sol, radiate, standing left, raising right hand, globe in left, chlamys across shoulder
    Struck at Trier 313-15 AD
    3.78 g, 18-19 mm
    RIC VII Trier 42

    Licinius_I_7_opt.jpg
    LICINIUS I AE3 Follis
OBVERSE: IMP LICI-NIVS AVG, laureate bust right, wearing imperial mantle, holding globe, sceptre & mappa
REVERSE: PROVIDEN-TIAE AVGG, campgate with three turrets, no door, delta in right field SMHA in ex.
    Struck at Heraclea 318-320 AD
    3.0g, 18mm
    RIC VII 48

I have plenty more as I know all of you do as well. At least it's better than looking at a blank screen!

Post your favorites threads will be difficult for me for awhile since I just put up my 99½ favorites pages and those who want to see those coins can go there. This is my favorite Constantine I that did not make that list:
    rx4800b01550alg.jpg

It was my first EPOC mintmark coin and is the less usual Roma reverse. My 99½ favorites was 10% coins of this period which is about right since 10% of my whole collection comes from this period as well. I would not have anything like this number were it not for my friendship with Victor Failmezger that led me to do the photos for his book that covers Diocletian through Jovian. Before that, I considered them a bit boring. I was wrong.
