    Lets post your beautiful coins of the Central and South America. The only condition: post a coins which were released since 1901 untill 1951.

    I thought this was a funny thread. Did you know Siberian Man your thread would be read completely differently by people living in the US than you intended? "American" anything to us only refers to the United States in our minds.

    Yes, I know its wrong, and our friends in Central and South America resent it, since they all live in the Americas as well. Its just the way the word is used here to differentiate us from Canadian and Mexican neighbors. They are Canadian and Mexican, we are Americans. :)

    But that is what made it even MORE confusing. Reading a thread called, "American coins ....." in the World and Ancient section was even more bewildering. :)

    Btw, yes, some of us do realize how provincial the view is of the typical American both in collecting habits and world outlook. It relaly is shame, but it is what it is I suppose.
