today at work i found a 1953 d dime and a 1956 nickle in pocket change!!! has anyone found any silver coins in pocket change this or last month ?
Grats on the dime! It is always nice to find silver in your change. Unless fake the nickel is not silver but still a nice find.
i get days like that. you get 2 old coins and a year later it happens again. i guess people cash in their collection and it spreads in pocket change for a short time.
Nice finds. I've found some silver wartime nickels in change, and one or two silver dimes two. About a month ago my brother got 3 silver washingtons in change at the gas station.
About a year ago i got a silver 1944 War Nickel in change. And 2 weeks ago, i found this 1941 Washington quarter in change from McDonalds!! (The '40-D was not a circ find, but a coin i bought on EBay for melt because I liked how worn it was. It arrived on the day i got the '41 in change so i included it in the pic)
