I love toned coins. And I really love coins that are featured on pcgs coinfacts. However this just seems too high. What do you think? Too high or reasonably priced. It is the bottom right cent on the coinfacts page. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1900-Proof-...24?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item4ad54554e0 Coin for the thread. This just happens to also be a coin facts coin. This brings me up to three coinfacts displayed coins. But I do feel like it is cheating as there are so few patterns it is easier to find the coinfacts coin when there are only 10 examples of the coin minted or whatever the run was for that pattern.
The cent is a pop 5/1 in brown with few auction results to look at. I think it's too high but someone may pay that because of the color. The history of some blue proofs makes me stay away from them. Still a pretty coin.
Did you check his website? He (Rick Snow) is usually cheaper on his website as he doesn't have to pay the PayPal fees.
What is the history of blue proofs? BTW, that pattern half is extraordinary, Vic. You sure collect some outstanding coins.
Wow that is one heck of a penny. I just found out that a 1964D MS68 half would cost about that, I like Kennedy's but that penny is stunning! As for worth it, I have no clue.
