When submitting the 2006 20th Anniversary ASE set for slabbing, do most people get them slabbed in one three-coin slab container or three individual containers? What are the advantages and disadvantages to both types? Do some slabbing companies not give you the option? Three coin example:
Well, I sent an ASE Anniversary set in to be graded by PCGS with the intention of having them graded and labeled indiviudally. I had opened the set up prior to submitting to PCGS, so I knew I wasn't going to get the 20th anniversary designation on the unc. and prf. coins. I was surpised to learn all three coins came back labeled "20th anniversary"!!! As far as a multi-coin holder, I didn't even know there was an option?... - Jake
I think NGC is the only one with a Multi coin slab---as for + /- I think the plus is that it is complete as a set---and easy to view---the other side is that if you want to sell 1 of the coins you can't really just sell one.... I'm hoping to send in my set of PF66 Franklins for holding in a multi coin slab Speedy
