Copy of the sought after draped bust dollar coin. It apparently is a 1 troy ounce silver bullion coin.

I mean fake as in a copy, it has the same design as the sought after 1796 dollar coins, worth in the thousands. This, is a privately minted bullion coin worth only silver melt which is 1 ounce.

Either way is fine. That is a pretty solid morgan you got there!

Depending on what those block spots on the obverse is, I see a high AU or a MS 64/65 without the spots. Unfortunately, I'm not really the best in spotting wear/rub and the difference in that so that would be my best guess.

Awsome thank you! What kind of value would i be looking at for that morgan?

Here is also another morgan from the bunch and a few other coins that were in there but not with the morgans the morgans were wrapped in a kinda weird roll. photo 14.JPG photo 15.JPG photo16.JPG

The bullion pieces below the morgan are worth melt which is 20ish per, as of today and morgans are going for 25ish in circulated and 50+ in MS

Actually, its copying the Heraldic reverse dollars made later. The 1796 was the small eagle if I remember correctly.

the ring itself weighs around 30grams and its almost looks as if its carved written not stamped 18k inside. thanks alot for your help!

Rings made out of quarter eagles were fairly common. I would say its worth at least 3/4 an ounce of gold, so about $975 today. The coin will be damaged from being mounted, so I am not sure its worth more than that.

thank you for your response, so is my best bet attempting to remove the coin regardless if I ruin it or not its still worth its weight in gold so to speak?
