found this 1969 double date that weighs 5.14 grams is this acceptable i believe its suppose to be 5.83 any ideas thank you
It looks like MD to me. Can you take a picture of the date straight on? That would be easier to see what you are talking about.

You can find wonderful machine doubling in almost all the nickel 25-cent coins from 1968 to 1989.
