Just found this! I didn't think I would find one. I wish it was a Denver, but I am very happy. All the markers match die 4. The condition was very surprising to me also. Thanks all & comments welcomed!

Congrats, Jay, on a great find! Though, are those carbon spots, or does it just 'need a bath'? And, when you say 'just found this', did you find it 'in the wild', or did you cherry yourself?? Either way, I'm assuming it only cost you a penny (or less if you cherried yourself), making it a REALLY great find, and it IS in great condition!

All I found today was from the CoinStar machine at the supermarket. Among 13 mutilated Lincoln Mems, I found a '43-S steelie! Not a BIG deal, but a '43 San Fran steelie, found in a CoinStar in Mass, roughly XF, even wear, not damaged in the slightest? What a trail it has taken, and the stories it could tell!! Not worth much, but it made my trip to the market 'worth it' (won't pay for any of my groceries, but knowing things like this are still out there....still gives one hope of possibly finding something rarer). It was funny, as I showed my exuberance over my find, and NOONE could understand why I was getting so excited about finding 'only a penny'..lol....non-coin collectors, I'll tell ya!..lol It was especially 'sweet' for me, as I am a 'twenty-something', and never experienced finding 90%, Wheaties, Buffs, etc, on a regular/semi-regular basis in pocket change, as a lot of you 'more seasoned' (;) ) members can remember. Now, I hear CoinStar's are 'on the way out' (this store HAS moved the machine from the busy part of the checkout area to the most out-of-the-way place in the whole store, so, it may very well be true). This means I'll only have the 'self check-outs' to check for change, now. Boy, the stares you get when checking change slots nowadays!!

I would have been giddy too, numismania. Congrats!

I finally got to my next roll...1998 WAM! Everything is coming at the end of the brick. I have 3 1/2 rolls left. What could be next!?!
