Well....I got the item yesterday (Feb. 5th) - ordered it on Jan. 21st....and it was the wrong coin (Mercury dime just like I ordered but it's toned and crooked in the PCGS package and it's very ugly and scratched...but no signs of tampering...I don't get it. The ebayer is really not a good seller and you can tell from the recent feedback but I still don't want to risk losing my 100% feedback so I guess I will just take it and learn my lesson. All her coins are odd.

I kinda understand the whole feedback thing. You know keep emm honest and all. But I have been held hostage with this feed back thing. I won item and paid at closing with paypal and had money transferred to there account within 5 mins of close. Then they refuse to give me positive feedback till I leave them positive feedback. Kinda frosts my taters! :hammer: :eek:dd: But I still do some shopping there so what can you do? :D

rickieb: I have bought plenty of stuff on ebay. no problems with ebay. raw unslabbed coins over-graded is not an ebay problem, its a coin-collecting problem. if thats the issue, buy slabbed coins. dealers have feedback ratings. they dont want negative feedback. I have bought plenty of stuff on ebay. mainly letters and diaries I collect. I bought lots of that stuff. coins I just started getting into. buying on ebay is a great thing!!!!

I think you should risk it---think about it this way---if I leave feedback telling what she has done will it help a new collector not get burned---and I mean....1 bad feedback for you isn't that bad....I have one too....it doesn't hurt you from getting buyers...

Why is it that everyone is always so eager to open disputes, and start chargebacks after relatively brief periods, but never bother to actually get the other guys contact information from eBay and call them on the phone? In most cases it would answer questions much faster and easier than going to a forum and having everyone there speculate.

Are they (e-Bay) going to hand out that info???

I've not had any bad experiences with sellers yet (it will come), but the times I've tried to contact ebiscuit for help... They were less than helpful...

Why do you need to go through Ebay---When you win an item from ebay a note comes to you in an email telling you the guys name and address....go to Whitepages.com and type in that and it will tell you a phone number---I've done it before.

Depends on how the seller has his info set up... I made plenty of trasactions, where I did not get the sellers address...

I guess if you always pay with a money order they have to give it to you to send it to them, Unless they have a PO box...
