While searching through some old files I stumbled upon this and thought WOW..What a great collection Jacervone had at that time..I am sure it has grown since 2008....I hope you do not mind me posting this again Jacervone?..It was just very cool..if you are asked to install the presenter..please do so..it is worth seeing. The files are clean..so I hope you have a little trust.

    Tease!

But, all kidding aside, getting Joe's permission WOULD be the considerate thing to do. I doubt he'd object if he were asked, as Joe IS one of the good guys, and I doubt he'd mind sharing. Personally, I'd love to see it, myself (hint, hint, Joe! ;) ).

I'm not sure what you wanted to share with us Rick, but Joe has given us the link here on his CT profile page, to much of his beautifully imaged coins on his website:

    Southhills Coins

At the very least, it may provide a preview or update of what's to come... :)

Man, I just gave Joe's link a very quick glimpse before hitting the feathers...I have to say, I think that Washington $5 gold is still one of the 'classiest', yet simple, commems, with, what I consider are, well, classy, yet simple, obverses and reverses. I know a lot do NOT like the reverse Eagle on that particular piece, but I do love it, and just have to get one. If metals keep dropping, I'll jump eventually. Krispy, thanks for the reminder that Joe HAS linked it for all to see.

I think you refer to the 1999 George Washington $5 Gold Commemorative Coin, which I too like very much in design, and attribute it's appeal as standing out from other modern commemorative coins because it carries the portrait originally created by Laura Garden Fraser (slightly modified), once a candidate design for the 1932 Washington Quarter.

I don't have the cash to collect gold, so I have never really looked at that design. I really like it. I think everything about that coin says "strength". The eagle on the reverse looks muscular, almost like a body builder. And George, he looks like he is about to backfist someone. Very beautiful, tough design. Love the MS70!

Hey gang...you all talking behind my back again! ;)

You can post it Rickie. I lost that file on my old computer so it would be great to see it again.

Those were the good old days.....When Krispy and I would trade stories about all the FS coins we were buying with our left over cash laying on the floor.....LOL! Ahhhh where did those days go?

Thank you Rickie for posting that. It was great to see that again. Reminded me of an old 80's music video. LOL!

PS - Everyone make sure you take a look at Rickie's video. There is a link to his video next to mine on his page. It is a great video to Pink Floyd's Money.
