I just now came across this thread -- a bit too late to join in. Darryl, I think I have nearly the exact same shot of myself on the Great Wall from when I was there in 2000. I can still remember the rock-hard hotel mattresses. I carry this beat-up little 2 Jiao fractional in my wallet as a memento -- it's worth about 1.6 cents.
