Not yet, but I'm sure we'll get it eventually. It doesn't matter as long as we get it before the next ebay bucks period is over.
Sorry, they shook me back into active status with the $50 coupon offer. Just got a buying promo for $15 eBay bucks if I sign up for Bill Me Later, but I'm still thinking I don't want to get dragged into that.
Well, I got another shot at the multiple bucks this morning -- 2x for items over $50, 3x for items over $100, 4x for items over $150. This time, though, the total bucks work out to 8% -- last time it was 10% (not sure how that's "4x"). The starting gun was at 8AM PDT; I had a couple of coins scoped out, but by the time I got back to them at lunch, they were gone. So I guess I wasn't the only one who got this offer. It's nice to get discounts, but at this point I think it's backfiring a little bit -- I'm assuming that if they did it twice in the space of a week or two, they'll probably be doing it again soon. Or maybe they just liked my spending habits during the last promotion. (I did, too, but it's not especially sustainable.)
Just got my first buyer offer in years: 10% off any eligible purchase over $75, up to a maximum of $100 off.
Ive had about 3 offers roll in the last 2-3 weeks. It was the 4X EBB, and I got a VERY nice boost. In fact I was buying high priced fishing equipment (which qualifies surprisingly enough) and garnered about $100 off it. Woot Woot free coin, free coin. Best part is that I got a better deal on my gear, and my dad ended up reimbursing be for half the original sale price since we split the stuff for our boat. Im still excited about another free coin. Or at least a huge discount when I do make a purchase.
I had that offer once! Didn't take advantage of it, and they haven't offered it again :-( Now I take all of these quadruple bucks offers like they are going to be my last.. LOL! Bad for the budget, but hey, it's free money!!!
One thing to think about with the $15 for using Bill-Me-Later is that by signing up for it they will pull your credit history and extend you a line of credit that counts against your debt/income ratio. Both of these factors are taken into consideration when calculating your credit score, and the debt/income ratio could affect how much you can borrow for something you actually care about like a car loan or a mortgage. A small difference in a credit score could easily result in a difference of .125% (1/8th of a percent) in a loan rate. If you borrow $200,000 to buy a house, that .125% could mean as much as $5500 in additional interest on a 30 year loan. I think $15 is a pretty lame offer. I frequently see offers for $50-100 cash back for new credit cards. If FeeBay wants to entice me into a line of credit, they need to up their ante to be on par with other creditors. To be fair though, if you buy on FeeBay a lot, the double FeeBay bucks whenever you use bill-me-later could make it worthwhile for you, and the $15 would just be a bonus.
No more eBay bucks multiple offers in the last 30 days. However: The $10-for-selling-any-item coupon came through quickly, and worked. The $50-for-selling-something-over-$50 coupon came through a few days later, even though I satisfied the requirements earlier. It worked, too. Another $10 coupon showed up a week or two later, with a message thanking me for selling on eBay. It kind of looked like they issued me $10 twice for the same sale, but both coupons worked. Now, today, yet another coupon, this one for $20, and with no explanation. I'm not going to ask questions, but it's kind of surprising. I've got to use it by June 30, but I don't think that'll be a problem. And after that, all those multiplied eBay bucks land...
Working on a 3-day quadruple bucks cert. right now I received a $20 coupon too, and 2 days after seeing it eBay sent a message saying it was given with apologies for my recent interrupted shopping experience. They must be referring to the password debacle, right??? I'm not going to question it! Free money is free money!
Huh. I got the coupon, but not the explanation. Better than getting the explanation but not the coupon, I suppose. Still no multiple eBay bucks at this end. Guess they figure I hit them hard enough last month. Anybody else currently have them? I'm trying to figure out the general pattern so I can plan accordingly if I start selling again...
Ok, I opened a new Ebay account, made a few purchases, and still no offers. So I opened a third Ebay account, made a few purchases, and bingo 2 offers this month. The one i got today was 13% ebay bucks for auction purchases over 150.00 I bought some gold for 13% in rewards.
Holy carp! I could bother opening another account or two for 13% off large purchases. But I thought they had fairly tight regulations on how many accounts you could open against the same identity (mailing address, CC, etc)...?
I had to use my landline for the third account. you cant have the same phone number linked to all the accounts
I just bought a bunch more gold under melt. I want this deal to go away, its bad for the bank account. I almost bought another $10 Liberty, but he had it listed in two categories, one being bullion. So Ebay bucks was zero. People that list in bullion category are screwing themselves
Yeah, I really don't see the benefit for cross-listing in Bullion -- I guess big sellers get better terms for selling there, but if they cross-list it in another category as well, that probably wouldn't apply. And someone in your position might've been willing to bid up to 13% higher if it hadn't been in Bullion. Went to the ATM this evening, and the CC bill for last month's eBay bucks frenzy had been autopaid. Bigger shift in the balance than I'm used to.
