While it is unusual, it makes me wonder about the integrity of the site, "cuds-on-coins" since it isn't a cud.

Have you been there Chris? It's not just Cuds. It's also, interior die breaks, retained Cuds, retained interior die breaks, ect, in different categories. I don't know why you keep questioning the credibility of the foremost error & variety experts. I think Mike Diamond, BJ Neff & Fred Weinberg know what they are doing. Just like they do on maddieclashes.com.

Then why do they call it "cuds-on-coins"? You'd think they could come up with a site name that is a bit more accurate or all-encompassing. If you were listing a coin on eBay, wouldn't you want to maximize the number of "hits" by expanding on the title?

Furthermore, I said nothing about the credibility of the experts. I questioned the integrity of the site. Why do you find it necessary to read something between the lines?

And, let's not get into "maddieclashes". After all, MAD is an acronym which stands for "misaligned die" so that means the site name is "misaligned die die clashes". That makes perfect sense, doesn't it! It's a little sad that some collectors are so into catchy names that they often forget what these acronyms mean. SNAFU!

Does anyone wonder why some of the members get so put off by others who don't know how or are too lazy to use the English language properly?

    1) So Cuds-on-Coins should be called cudsretainedcudsretainedinteriordiebreaksInteriordiebreaksShattereddiesSplitdiesBisectingrimtorimdiecracksOnuscoinsforiegncoinsandtokens.com, I guess. Now that makes sense. Much more than Cuds-on-coins. Sure. I guess while we're at it, we should change traildies.com to traildies&wavysteps.com. Let's go ahead and change coppercoins.com to coppercoins&copperplatedzinccoins.com.

2). I am very sorry I used credibility instead of integrity, however if you look them up in a thesaurus, they are synonymous. Considering they (experts) created these sites, I don't feel I read between any lines. It's pretty straight forward.

You think clashes can't be raised, yet you judge the integrity of these great sites? Whatever makes you feel better buddy.

I figured you would say something as ridiculous as that. It reminds me of the kid who found a PA SQ with a die crack, and he thought it would be cool to name it the "Pissing Minuteman".

The use of the word "integrity" does have more than one meaning, not just the narrow-minded, singular one you have expressed. I was referring to one of the other definitions, but I'll leave it to you to learn how to use it.

Nah! You go ahead and use the term "misaligned die die clashes". Whenever I see it, I'll think of someone who screws up changing a baby's diaper.

I didn't name it anything. I wish I could find that bastard who soils your corn flakes every morning. I would put a stop to it!

You still have no idea what you are talking about. Maddieclashes.com is the web address. If you would ever open your mind and take a look at the site, you'd see that you click on "MAD clash files". That would be misalign die clash files, not misaligned die die clash files. You would know this if you didn't just throw judgement around without checking it out first. The "corn flake pisser" must be stopped!!

Geez, I don't get the fuss over all the semantics here.

The site error-ref.com lists errors, varieties, and common types of PMD, not just errors.

The site maddieclashes.com lists typical and atypical die clashes, not just misaligned die clashes.

I mean, even doubleddie.com lists repunched mintmarks and repunched dates, not just doubled dies!

What's the issue with cuds-on-coins? It's a catchy-sounding name, easy to remember, and gets the basic idea across...cuds (a type of die break) that is present on coins. That does not mean that all the coins posted on that site NEED to be a die break including the rim, give me a break with this hair-splitting!

I don't want to "get it." To "get it" would mean that I have to wake up every morning looking for something to B about. I have too much to be thankful for to be that way. Sorry.
